Gümüldür Mavi Deniz Otel

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was clean and larger than expected, and the staff was very helpful and friendly. It was nice to have our Turkish breakfast served to us at the table rather than needing to get up and down for a buffet. Buse, our server, was especially sweet. Workers were very responsive to our needs, including the owner, who helped us with a navigation issue on my iPhone after we had already checked out. When he heard that we had stayed for our anniversary, he gave us a gift of their own virgin olive oil. The first two nights there were what seemed to be private parties in the garden with live music that was a bit noisy. They were Turkish preschool graduation parties. We didn’t mind because it brought back fond memories of our own experience like that with our daughter. They probably would have let us join if we asked, but we were content just to observe from our windows, which looked onto the garden and the sea. It finished by 11 PM. We were quite busy each day, exploring the countryside in our rental car, so we don’t really know the full day atmosphere of the hotel. If breakfast is any indication, it is a quiet and relaxing place, where the layout of the garden makes you feel like you’re in your own little world.

They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The staff were super friendly, hardworking and made us feel like we were at home. The breakfasts were included in our stay and there were so much variety of jams, olives and cheeses. The rooms were hygienic, clean and spacious. It was close to the Gumuldur Mavi Deniz Pide shop, that had fresh lahmacun, pide and a variety of other food. We were so happy with our stay and can’t wait to come again.

What an amazing experience from the day we checked in and the day we checked out. Hotel was exceptionally clean and tidy. Staf was super helpful, and they always had the can do attitude with a smile... what more can you ask ? Hotel is located right by the beach with amazing sea view, food was excellent through out the day. I would highly recommend this hotel !!!!

The hotel is located on the beach so you can hear the waves from the room. It's lovely to fall asleep while listening to the sea, with AC off and windows large opened. Cozy hotel garden, with lots of flowers, trees and some cats playing under tables. We have enjoyed the hotel's garden, reading, sipping Turkish coffee or simply watching the sunset over a beer or two. The dinner buffet is really generous. A large selection of Turkish traditional vegetarian dishes, prepared from fresh veggies. The breakfast is simple and tasty (we loved the black olive paste, the red peppers paste, the cheese and tomatoes salad) They also offer a daily tea party between 16:30 - 17:30 with many herbal infusions to choose from, delicious cakes and snacks. On Saturday evening there was a barbecue party in the hotel's garden, with live music. It was nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Although some of the staff members don't speak much English, they were always ready to help. Lovely vacation ambiance, overall.

I love this place. It is a family-run place where grandfather made the tea every afternoon in the back garden. It is situated close to large resorts, so there are things to do nearby. Despite being close to these establishments, it retains its character. I can't say enough good things about this hotel. I am from the southern US, and their sense of family really resounded with me. This is an example of Turkish hospitality at its finest.
